Messages and notifications

Messages is your notification feed — invites, approvals, feedback and payments. It is not a chat with brands.

Last reviewed

Messages in the sidebar is your notification feed — a record of everything that has happened on your campaigns.

It is not a chat

This is the part people get wrong. Messages is a feed you read, not a conversation. You cannot reply to a brand there, and brands cannot message you through it.

If you need to raise something, email creator.marketing@socialnative.com. Campaign questions go through the Social Native team rather than direct to the brand — see the Creator Code of Conduct.

The filters

FilterWhat lands here
UnreadAnything you have not opened
InvitesNew campaign invites
ApprovalsCreator approvals, content approvals, campaign launches
FeedbackChanges requested, rejections, caption edits, notes on your content
PaymentsPayouts sent
ReportsPerformance and results

Feedback is the one to watch. That is where "changes requested" and rejection notes arrive, and those are the ones holding up your payout.

Notifications also go to email

You do not have to live in the dashboard — invites and decisions are emailed too. If those have stopped arriving, check your spam folder first, then confirm the email address on your profile is current.

Where an email and the dashboard disagree — most often about dates — the dashboard is correct.
