Connecting your Instagram, TikTok and YouTube accounts
Connecting a channel proves you own it and lets us pull follower and engagement stats. We never post on your behalf.

Connecting a channel is the first step of onboarding, and you can add or change channels later from Profile → Connected accounts.
Onboarding lets you Skip for now, but matching leans heavily on connected-account data — skipping it means noticeably fewer invites.
Why we ask
Connecting an account does three things:
- It proves the account is yours.
- It lets us read public stats — follower count, post count, average engagement — so we can match you to campaigns with the right audience fit, and so brands can see who they are working with.
- It lets us confirm that you posted for a campaign and pull performance data on that post.
We never post, like, comment, or send messages on your behalf, and we never see or store your password. Authorization happens on Instagram's and TikTok's own sites.
Instagram connects through Meta. You will be sent to Facebook, asked to approve a set of permissions, and then asked to pick which Facebook Page to connect.
Two things matter here:
- Approve all of the requested permissions. If you decline any of them the connection will complete but come back incomplete, and you will need to start over.
- Select your Facebook Page by name from the list. If you skip this step we cannot reach the Instagram account behind it.
Instagram requires a Professional (Business or Creator) account linked to a Facebook Page. See Why Instagram needs a Professional account.
TikTok
TikTok connects directly — you will be sent to TikTok to approve access, then returned to your profile.
A TikTok account can only be linked to one Social Native creator account. If you see "This TikTok account is already linked to another creator," you likely have a second Social Native account from an earlier sign-up. Email creator.marketing@socialnative.com and we will sort out which account to keep.
YouTube
YouTube can be added to your profile so you are considered for YouTube campaigns.
Disconnecting
Each connected account has a Disconnect option. Disconnecting stops us syncing stats from that channel, and you will not be matched to campaigns for it until you reconnect.
