Creating your account and finishing onboarding

Onboarding is seven steps, starting with connecting a social account. Your PayPal email is set separately, under Profile.

Signing up

Go to the sign-up page and create your account. You can use Google or an email and password. Whichever you choose, use the same method every time you log in — signing in with Google and signing in with an email of the same name create two separate accounts.

The seven onboarding steps

After your first login you will be walked through onboarding. You can leave and come back; your progress is saved as you go.

  1. Connect your social accounts — link at least one channel to continue. There is a Skip for now option, but matching leans heavily on connected-account data, so skipping it means far fewer invites. See Connecting your accounts.
  2. Identity — your birthday and gender.
  3. Location — mailing address, city, state, postal code, country, and phone number. Fill the address in even if you are not interested in product campaigns yet. Campaigns that ship product can only consider creators with an address on file.
  4. Categories — the subjects you create about, from Beauty and Fitness to Gaming, Pet, and Automotive. Pick everything that genuinely applies; each one is a channel for invites.
  5. Targeting — optional demographic detail (languages, occupational field, ethnicity, relationship status, whether you have kids). Every field here has a "Prefer not to say" option. Brands use these to build audience-matched rosters, and skipping them narrows the campaigns you match into.
  6. Payout expectations — what you expect to be paid for a collaboration. This is a rate signal used in matching. It is not where you tell us where to send money.
  7. Terms — accept the creator terms.

Add your PayPal email separately

This is the step people miss. The Payout expectations step above asks what you want to be paid; it does not collect your payment details.

To tell us where money actually goes, open Profile → Payment info and add the email address attached to your PayPal account. Do it now rather than when your first payment is due. See How and when you get paid.

Keeping your profile current

Your profile drives matching, so treat it as a living document rather than a one-time form. If you move, change what you create about, or grow into a new platform, update it. You can edit any of it later from Profile in the sidebar.
