Creating and submitting your content
Upload your content for review before you post. Nothing should go live on your channel until it is approved.
Last reviewed
Once your status reads Content due, you are confirmed and it is time to create.
Work from the brief
Open the campaign and re-read the brief. It sets the narrative, the production style, the deliverable count, and the required hashtags and @mentions. Content that misses a required hashtag or mention will come back for changes, so check the caption against the brief before you submit.
Within those constraints, make it yours. Brands come to Social Native for content that looks like your channel, not like an ad.
Getting the product
If the campaign involves physical product, the brief says how you get it — shipped to you, bought with a code, or found in store. See Product campaigns.
Uploading
Upload your content on the campaign page. It goes to the Social Native team first, then to the brand.
Do not post to your own channel yet. The whole point of reviewing before publishing is that nothing ever has to be edited or deleted after the fact. Wait for approval.
Instagram Stories
Stories must be submitted as a single combined video, not as separate segments. Use whatever editing tool you like, or do it inside Instagram:
- Post your segments to a private close-friends story.
- Open the last clip and tap More in the bottom right.
- Tap Save, then Save Story — this saves the whole thing as one video.
- Delete the story straight away.
- Upload that single video.
Once approved and posted, a Story has to stay live for its full 24 hours.
After you submit
Your status moves to Content submitted — awaiting review. We review against the brief, then pass it to the brand. You will be notified at each step. If anything needs changing, see When changes are requested.
