When changes are requested or content is rejected

Changes requested means edit and resubmit. Rejected means the submission did not meet the brief.

Last reviewed

Content is reviewed twice — once by the Social Native team, once by the brand. Either can ask for changes.

Changes requested

Your status reads Content changes requested. Open the campaign and read the note attached to your submission; it says specifically what needs to change. Make the edit, upload the revised file, and it goes back through review.

Common ones:

  • A required hashtag or @mention missing from the caption.
  • Product not visible enough, or shown in a way the brief ruled out.
  • Wrong aspect ratio or format for the placement.
  • Something in the frame the brand cannot feature.

Rejected

Your status reads Content submission rejected. This means the submission did not meet the brief and is not going forward as-is. The note explains why. In most cases you can submit a fresh take — check the note, and email creator.marketing@socialnative.com if it is not clear what would work.

Caption edits after approval

Sometimes a caption is edited during review rather than sent back to you. If that happens you will be notified, and the approved caption is the one you should post. Use the caption exactly as approved — that is what was signed off.

If you disagree

Email creator.marketing@socialnative.com with the campaign name and your username. Do not contact the brand directly; campaign questions go through us. See the Creator Code of Conduct.
