Your campaign timeline, step by step
The tracker on each campaign shows exactly what you owe and who you are waiting on. The steps vary by campaign.
Last reviewed
Open any campaign from My Campaigns and you will see a tracker at the top. It is the fastest way to tell whether the ball is in your court or ours.
The steps are not the same on every campaign. Some add a concept round, some ask for raw files or stills alongside the finished piece, and on some the brand publishes rather than you. The tracker only ever shows the steps that apply to the campaign you are looking at.
The steps
Invited — You have an invite and have not answered yet. Read the brief and accept or decline. Your move.
Awaiting approval — You accepted. The brand is building its final roster and deciding which creators to confirm. Waiting on the brand.
Concept (only on campaigns that ask for one) — You pitch your idea before you shoot, so the brand can steer direction before you spend the effort. The step label tells you where it stands: Submit concept, Concept in review, Concept with brand, Concept changes requested, or Concept rejected.
Upload content — Create the piece and upload it. This one step also carries the whole review cycle, because from your side it is one wait on the thing you uploaded. Watch the label:
| Label | What it means |
|---|---|
| Upload content | Nothing submitted yet |
| Upload N more assets | Some in, more owed |
| Content in admin review | With the Social Native team |
| Content in brand review | We approved it; the brand is looking |
| Fix & re-upload | Changes requested — read the notes |
| Rejected — re-upload | Not approved; read the notes and submit a fresh take |
Raw files / Images / Raw & images (only on campaigns with those add-ons) — Some campaigns ask for the raw footage or extra stills once the finished piece is accepted. These unlock per piece after the brand accepts it, so this step will not ask for anything while your content is still in review.
Launched — Your content is approved. If the campaign has not reached its start date yet, this reads Waiting for launch date. On campaigns where the brand publishes, it reads Awaiting payout instead.
Submitted URL (only when you are the one posting) — Post on your own channel and paste the URL back in. See Posting and submitting your post URL.
Paid — Your payout has been sent. Done.
Campaigns where the brand posts
On some campaigns you create the content but the brand publishes it on their own channels. You will never be asked for a post URL on these, and there is no Submitted URL step. Your payout follows brand approval rather than a live post.
You may also see an individual piece approved as approved — do not post. That means the brand has accepted and paid for the content but does not want it on your channel. It still counts as delivered.
If a campaign closes early
The tracker stops and shows why:
- Declined by you — you turned the invite down.
- Declined by brand — the brand did not confirm you for its roster. This happens; rosters are smaller than invite lists.
- Cancelled — the campaign itself was cancelled.
Once a campaign completes or your invite is paid, the delivery closes and you can no longer upload or edit — see When a campaign closes.
Status labels on the campaign list
The My Campaigns list shows a shorter status per invite:
| Label | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Invitation pending | You have not responded yet |
| Awaiting brand approval | You accepted; the brand is picking its roster |
| Content due | You are confirmed — upload your content |
| Content submitted — awaiting review | With our team |
| Awaiting brand review | We approved it; the brand is looking |
| Content changes requested | Someone asked for edits — check the notes |
| Content submission rejected | Not approved; see the notes |
| Content approved by brand | Cleared to post when the campaign goes live |
| Completed | Finished |
