Accepting or declining an invite
Read the brief first. Accepting is not a guarantee of a spot — the brand still confirms its roster.
Last reviewed
Invites show up in two places: an email, and the My Campaigns page in your dashboard. The dashboard is the source of truth — if an email and the dashboard disagree about dates, trust the dashboard.
Before you accept
Open the invite and read the brief. It tells you:
- The narrative and creative direction the brand wants.
- Who posts, and in what production style.
- Whether physical product is involved.
- The post start and end dates.
- How many pieces of content you owe.
- What you will be paid.
Briefs differ campaign to campaign. Read each one properly rather than assuming it matches the last.
Accepting
Hit Accept invite. Your status moves to Awaiting brand approval.
Accepting does not guarantee you a spot. Brands invite more creators than they have room for, then confirm a final roster. You will see your status move to Content due once you are confirmed — that is the green light to start creating. Until then, do not start producing content you may not be paid for.
Declining
Hit Decline. There is no penalty, and telling us a campaign is not a fit genuinely improves what we send you next.
Please respond to invites even when you are not interested. A declined invite is useful signal; an ignored one is not.
If you accepted and can no longer take part
Tell us as early as you can — email creator.marketing@socialnative.com with your username and the campaign name. Dropping out after you have been confirmed leaves the brand short, and repeated no-shows reduce how often you are invited. Dropping out without telling anyone is treated more seriously than dropping out with notice.
If product has already been shipped to you, see Product campaigns — you will usually need to return it.
If you declined by mistake
Email creator.marketing@socialnative.com with your username and the campaign name. If the roster is still open we can reissue the invite, but we cannot promise the spot is still there.
Deadlines
If you are not going to make a submission or posting deadline, email creator.marketing@socialnative.com before the deadline rather than after. There is no guarantee of an extension, but there is a lot more we can do while the campaign is still running.
