Reports and analytics

Where campaign results appear, and why a new campaign shows nothing until posts go live.

Last reviewed

Reports & Analytics collects results across your campaigns. Individual campaign results also live on the campaign itself.

Why you might see nothing yet

Reporting is built from live posts. Until approved creators have published and submitted their post URLs, there is nothing to report — so a campaign in Draft, brief review, creator acquisition, or Active will show empty. Data starts arriving once the campaign is Live and creators begin posting.

If a campaign has been live for a while and still shows nothing, the usual cause is that post URLs have not been submitted yet. You can see submission progress on the campaign.

Where the data comes from

Metrics are pulled directly from the creator's connected channel through the platform's own API, not typed in by hand. That is why creators are asked to connect their accounts and, for Instagram, to use a Professional account — it is the only way to read post-level performance.

A consequence worth knowing: if a creator disconnects their channel or their access token expires, metrics for their posts stop updating until they reconnect.

Looking outward

Reports & Analytics measures what you ran. For what is happening in your category more broadly, see Share of Views and Trends Analysis.
