Campaign statuses explained
A campaign moves through seven statuses. Each one tells you who the campaign is waiting on.
Last reviewed
Every campaign carries one of seven statuses, shown on the campaign list and on the campaign itself.
The same status is worded two ways depending on where you are looking: the dashboard and reports chips spell it out, while the badge beside the campaign name on the campaign itself is terser. They mean the same thing.
| On dashboard & reports | On the campaign | What it means | Waiting on |
|---|---|---|---|
| Draft | Draft | Being built in the campaign wizard. Not submitted. | You |
| Admin reviewing brief | In review | Submitted for launch. The Social Native team is reviewing the brief before outreach starts. | Social Native |
| Admin inviting creators | Finding creators | Brief approved. Creator outreach is underway. | Social Native |
| Active | Active | Creators are confirmed and producing content. Submissions arrive for review during this phase. | Creators, then you |
| Live | Live | The posting window is open. Approved creators are publishing and submitting post URLs. | Creators |
| Completed | Completed | The posting window has closed and deliverables are in. | — |
| Archived | Archived | Closed out and filed. | — |
What to expect at each stage
Draft — nothing happens until you submit. Drafts are not visible to creators.
Admin reviewing brief — the team checks the brief is deliverable as written: budget against deliverables, timings, anything that would cause problems downstream. They may come back with proposed changes, which you approve or deny from the campaign. See Reviewing proposed brief changes.
Admin inviting creators — outreach is running. Invite lists are deliberately larger than the roster, because not every creator accepts.
Active — the phase where most of your work happens: approving the roster, then reviewing content as it comes in.
Live — content is approved and creators are posting to their own channels within the campaign window.
