Reviewing proposed brief changes

The Social Native team may propose edits to your brief. You approve them, or deny with a reason.

Last reviewed

While a campaign is in Admin reviewing brief — and sometimes later, if something needs to change mid-flight — the Social Native team can propose edits to your brief.

You will get a notification in your Inbox. Opening it takes you to a review screen showing the proposed changes side by side with what is currently in the brief, so you can see exactly what would change.

Your options

  • Approve — the changes are applied to the brief and the campaign continues.
  • Deny and escalate — the changes are rejected and the campaign is escalated back to the team. A reason is required; it is what the team works from, so be specific about what does not work and why.

Why changes get proposed

Usually because something in the brief will cause problems once it reaches creators:

  • Deliverables that do not match the budget.
  • Requirements that conflict with a platform's own rules.
  • Timings that do not leave enough room for production and review.
  • Guidelines specific enough to be unworkable, or vague enough to be unreviewable.

The team is trying to catch these before outreach, when they are cheap to fix.

Nothing changes without you

Proposed edits are staged, not applied. The brief creators see is the one you approved.
