Why you get invited, and how to get invited more

Matching runs on your profile, your connected channels and your track record. All three are things you control.

Last reviewed

Invites are not first-come-first-served and they are not random. Creators are scored against each brief, and the score is built from three things.

1. Your profile

Location, categories, languages, and the demographic detail you filled in at onboarding. Briefs are often specific — a brand wants creators in a particular market, or in a particular category, or who match an audience.

An incomplete profile does not score badly. It simply cannot be matched on the fields you left blank, so you are invisible to every brief that filters on them.

The mailing address matters more than people expect: campaigns that ship product can only consider creators with an address on file. That is a whole class of campaign that silently passes you by.

2. Your connected channels

Follower count, engagement, posting cadence and audience data come from the channels you have connected. A creator with nothing connected has no performance signal at all, and brands are choosing between people they can see.

If a connection has expired, your data silently stops updating — see Reconnecting an expired account.

3. Your track record

Past Social Native campaigns count. Specifically: whether you delivered, whether you delivered on time, whether your content needed several rounds of changes, and whether brands were happy with the result.

This is the part that compounds. Reliable creators get invited more, get better offers, and get rebooked directly by brands who have worked with them before.

What actually moves the needle

  • Complete your profile properly, including the address and the optional targeting fields.
  • Connect your channels and keep them connected.
  • Answer every invite, including the ones you do not want. A decline is useful signal and costs you nothing. Silence is the worst response — it leaves a brand holding a slot.
  • Deliver on time. If you cannot, say so early rather than going quiet.
  • Read the brief properly so your content clears review first time.

If you are getting nothing

Check, in order: is your profile complete? Are your channels connected and syncing? Is there an expired connection? Have you got unanswered invites sitting in Messages?

If all of that is clean and it has been a long quiet stretch, email creator.marketing@socialnative.com with your username and we will look at what you are matching against. Campaign volume also genuinely varies by category and market — some months are thinner than others.
